Steam distillation
Refresh uses a steam distillation process that produces ultra pure water.
Refresh Pure Water uses an advanced, patented distillation process called vapour compression to remove virtually all organic and inorganic contaminants — without filters, resin or membranes.
Our premium distilled water contains less than 1 ppm total dissolved solids and is regularly tested and certified by NATA-accredited laboratories, meeting the standards required for professional and technical applications.
Step by step
How we make ultra pure water.

Input water is first softened in an ion exchange treatment system.

The cold input water is exposed to heat from previously created steam and an intermittent electrical element.

The water is brought to a boil. The steam created is collected inside the distiller by a rotating compressor, then cooled by heat transfer into liquid distilled water.

The distilled water is stored in bulk tanks and continuously circulated through a UV process so all bacteria is killed.

Once bottled, Refresh Pure Water® is delivered to homes and businesses in our own trucks or by courier.
